Do you know a Star Builder?
Do you know a tradesperson who is hard working, always on time, courteous and always gets the job finished when they say they will? Then Chandlers Building Supplies in Thanet and the Thanet Extra wants to hear all about them for their Star Builder 2009 award!
Builders can quite often get a bad name especially when dodgy or dangerous work carried out by a small minority of unscrupulous conmen is publicised. However, the team at Chandlers wants to recognise and reward our local tradesmen and women who work hard and complete projects to a high standard.
From all nominations received for the Star Builder award the three best will be put forward for a public vote in the newspaper. The eventual winner will then be invited to attend a special presentation on Thursday 10th September at the Chandlers branch on Star Lane where they will be rewarded with a silver star award and £200 worth of Chandlers vouchers to spend in store.
Chandlers Thanet’s Branch Director, John Galer commented:
“We always like to reward our customers and trades people in the local area which is why this is a brilliant opportunity for a star builder in Thanet to get the recognition he or she deserves. Maybe they produce the best quality work, motivate their colleagues or even help out in the local community, whatever they do we want to hear about it.”
